Digital Content Coordinator

The Clear Channel Richmond Integrated Media department is looking for a Digital Content Coordinator for our Richmond, VA stations – WRXL-FM, WRVQ-FM, WTVR-FM, WBTJ-FM, WRVA-AM, WRNL-AM. This position is based in our Richmond offices.

Job Description
The Digital Content Coordinator works closely with each station’s Programming, Marketing and Promotions staff to ensure that our sites reflect station priorities while creating and programming other brand-appropriate content. The DCC is ultimately responsible for audience growth, project management, scheduling and production of station content. The DCC contributes ideas for online elements of terrestrial programs and works with station partners to create and maintain a long-term editorial and promotional calendar for each station’s site. The DCC also helps define stations’ voices in the social media space and develops social media strategies.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• Hands on experience with digital content creation, organization, and/or production
• Skilled in basic HTML (Flash is a plus), simple graphic design and video editing
• Aptitude in basic design programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.
• Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh
• Strong knowledge of pop culture, current events and digital trends
• Good people skills and the desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be highly organized and able to manage several asks while paying strong attention to detail
• The ability to work quickly and shift gears on a dime to capitalize on traffic opportunities
• Must a self-starter who excels at working independently or in a group
• Experience working with social media, if not professionally than to a high degree in your personal life
• Experience managing employees a plus
• Omniture Site Catalyst experience a plus
• Copywriting experience a plus
• Healthy addiction to the Internet a must

1140 WRVA and Sports Radio AM 910 is searching for an energetic leader to produce Live Talk Shows and run special events. You will be more than just a board operator as you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Producing, researching and call screening for live talk shows
• Voicing and producing sports updates
• Filling in for morning show producer on WRVA when needed – includes producing and booking guests for news intensive morning show
• Running special events on WRVA and WRNL

Days, nights, and weekends are required for this full time position. Knowledge of sports is a plus. Knowledge of good radio is a MUST.
